BEIT SHANANYA, ISRAEL - An Israeli health worker holds chicken to be culled on January 4, 2007 in Beit Shananya, Israel. The ministry of agriculture ordered the cull of all fowl in a three-kilometre (two-mile) radius of the contaminated area in Binyamina, north of Tel Aviv, as a precaution. The decision came following earlier detection of the H5N1 strain of bird flu that is dangerous to humans in poultry near a kindergarten in the northern Israeli town of Binyamina.
