The Wire Daisies are the latest phenomenon from an extraordinarily rich vein of talent to be found in the South West of England, combining the love of old-school singer-songwriting with the energy of today's British rock.

The four-piece, who combine their love of old-school singer-songwriting with the energy of today's British rock, have also signed a global publishing deal with EMI.

After completing a regional UK tour in July 2004, The Wire Daisies played the main stage at the closing night of the Montreux Jazz Festival the Wire Daisies and at this year's Womad Festival in Reading and their debut album 'Just Another Day' was released earlier this year in September 2004.

The single, 'Butterfly' was also out in September 2004, issued as a download with an accompanying video of the live performance of the band playing the single at the Montreux festival.
