Rebus played second at the seventheenth Tiscali Showcase at the Carling Bar Academy Islington on Friday January 20th 2005, and you can see exclusive video performances from the night after the event.

Rebus' unique brand of energetic dance-indie has slowly been filtering through to indie scensters across the UK from Rebus HQ in Reading, with recent support slots to the Ordinary Boys, S*M*A*S*H, Neils Children, Ludes and the New Rhodes. Their fans are rumoured to include NME darlings Bloc Party and fellow Reading band The Cooper Temple Clause.
Their debut Daylight Fading/ Clone A on Sugar Rush Records was lapped up by Steve Lamacq and XFM's John Kennedy with NME and Fly Magazine giving them there fair share of praise too. The band have also been picked by Vodafone to feature on their new TV and Cinema advert.
The boys are set to release a new EP in February 2006 on Heathen records, recorded at the back end of 2005 at Bleeding Ear Studios on their home patch
Rebus are the new stars of the screen and 2006 will see them sparkle.
