Tiscali Showcase - Constantine

Constantine opened the nineteenth Tiscali Showcase at the Carling Bar Academy Islington on Friday March 24th 2006, and you can see exclusive video performances from the night after below.

There's a pink glittery guitar lying on the floor. A pile of clothes, belts and shoes being rummaged through. And a girl in Elvis shades banging the shit out of a drum kit. Constantine are having a photoshoot.

More than that, Constantine are having a right laugh. 'Your arse is hanging out of your trousers!', Jackie tells Annabel. 'What else did I bring that was humorous?', Jackie asks. 'Your face', Beth replies. Noisy, funny, and far too pretty for their own good, Constantine are not chart-fodder bland. Nope, this new band are fabulously feisty. When they're asked to look sexy and pout, they virtually wet themselves. 'Do you really think we could do that seriously?!'.

Soon bored of the 'sultry' shots, they start practising their 'frown smiles' (you have to really wrinkle your brow and then grin like a loon. Try it. It's fun) and then rip the piss out of Annabel's new 'badger' belt ('It says "badger", not "beaver"!').
