We are please to announce that Cinimo (who played December's Tiscali Showcase) will be appearing as special guests at tomorrow nights 10th Tiscali Showcase. More on Cinimo below...
Cinimo opened the fourth Tiscali Showcase - Christmas Special at the Bar Academy Islington on December 10th 2004 - playing exclusively for Tiscali. Their crafty musicianship and wry songwriting sensibilities impressed the crowd, as they delivered an outstanding set of live songs. Listen to them below
Cinimo are four men. They play songs using musical instruments and voices. These songs are: melancholic, merry, melodic, multi-layered, mediocre, memorable and mainly miserable. They all live in England, but tend to gather in South-East London. They sing songs about people, places, and people in places. They employ a ramshackle approach to their stage set-up, but what they lack in professionalism they make up for in politeness.
Cinimo like:
-- community
-- televised sport
-- ribena
Cinimo don't like:
-- loneliness
-- lateness
-- leaflets
Cinimo: merry miserable melodies
Cinimo's set on the night was: Confusion, A Mess, Singing Away, Community, Sweet Dreams My LA X, The Theft
