Relieving drum and bass of all its potential aggression, their 1998 self-titled debut remains a think of great wonder. Five years later and Lamb continue to send out communiques from their own world of hypnotic beats and fragile lyricism.

Once again, Lamb succeed in creating an atmosphere of shaded awe, kind of like a guitar-free, beats-peppered Cocteau Twins as 'Between Darkness and Wonder' unravels story after story of candy-spun poetry and perfect grace.
