After numerous rumours of legal wrangles and label hopping followed by the disappointing sales of 'Freeek!' and 'Shoot The Dog' you could be forgiven for believing that George Michael was washed up.
The former Wham frontman and friend of Geri Halliwell hasn't had it easy in the 21st Century - but all that is about to change.
His new album 'Patience' is an album of old-school pop-soul in the 'Faith' tradition and the first taster, 'Amazing' is exactly that - a top pop gem that we thought George had long forgotten how to write.
True class never goes away - it just lulls you into a false sense of security, before hitting back bigger and better than before.
