Tatu - All The Things She Said (pictured on previous page)

After all the furore surrounding this Russian duo, their brilliant debut single, 'All The Things She Said', FINALLY gets a full release on these shores. Recently described by The Face magazine as '...the hottest pop stars in the world right now'.

Julia and Lena - two feisty 17-year-old singers from Moscow - have already swept across much of Europe and the U.S with their contagious, 80's tinted pop, and now it looks like it's the UK's turn.

Lifted from the girls' recently released debut album, 'All The Things She Said' is a sparkling slice of sexy synth-laden pop (produced by legendary Frankie Goes To Hollywood and Pet Shop Boys knob-twiddler Trevor Horn) that shows there's a whole lot more to tATu than just THAT controversial video.

  • Kelly Rowland - Stole

As one third of Destiny's Child (officially one of the best-selling female musical groups of all time) Kelly Rowland has more than made a mark on the international r'n'b scene.

However, since embarking on a sabbatical from the all-conquering girl-group she's had a number one hit with US rapper Nelly (on 'Dilemma') and now looks all set for individual stardom with her brilliant new single, 'Stole', not-to-mention her long-awaited solo album.

Seriously deep, intensely soulful and emotionally powerful, this cautionary tale about life and love displays another side to a truly wonderful young talent.

    Both formats include bonus tracks/mixes.

  • Kelly Osbourne - Shut Up (pictured above)

Having pretty much entered the music industry off the back of a joke from her sister Aimee (that resulted in last single 'Papa Don't Preach', a cover of the Madonna classic), Kelly Osbourne's not doing to bad for herself. As with its predecessor, 'Shut Up' is a pure pop treat wrapped up in a raucous rock jacket.

Catchy, straight to the point and dripping in Kelly O's feisty no-messin' attitude, this is a brilliant new single from a young talent that, musically anyway, is allset to get even bigger and better in 2003.

  • Beenie Man - Street Life

The second single from Beenie Man's latest album (the first being the Janet Jackson featured 'Feel It Boy'), 'Street Life' finds the reggae star getting back to his roots on a superb single that just oozes rawness and laidback street sass.

A track that'll easily crossover from reggae to hip-hop and then onto r'n'b, it also comes with show-stopping cameos from Ms Dynamite and So Solid Crew alongside remixes from Stargate and Jermaine Dupri (on the So So Def version featuring Da Brat).

  • Chicane: Feat Maire Brennan - Saltwater: 2003

Xtravaganza do us all a favour and bring that Balearic summer vibe early with the welcome return of Chicane's trance classic. The Thrillseekers, who not so long ago moved dancefloors with 'Dreaming Of You', take the original up a gear or two and create a slightly darker but no-less uplifting mix around Marie Brennan's tantalising vocals.

Whilst for those that missed it all those moons ago, the stunning original is also included.

  • Martin Grech - Push

The third single from Martin Grech's highly acclaimed debut album; 'Push' is yet more proof of this singer, songerwriter AND musician's incredible natural talent.

Quite rightly attracting comparisons with Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Smashing Pumpkins, Cocteau Twins and, if they existed, an 18th-century Deftones, it's Grech's haunting falsetto vocals, caustic guitar riffs and firm grasp on rock dynamics that make him such a powerful musical proposition. And 'Push' perfectly encompasses all to incredible effect.

Whilst each format also comes with equally stunning bonus tracks.

  • Gus Gus - David

Gus Gus are: President Bongo (Stef Stafansson), Biggi Veira (Birgir Thorarinsson), Buckmaster (Herb Legowitz) and mesmerising vocalist Earth (Urdur Hakonardottir), and 'David' is the band's stunning new single.

A deliciously unpredictable collision of sounds, styles and technology, this beautifully haunting, boundary straddling new single is also helped along with a brilliant set of dancefloor friendly remixes from the likes of an on-fire Darren Emerson, Medicine 8 and Philadelphia's King Britt.

Already described by Pete Tong as '...one of the most underrated and slow burning tunes of the last few months', this is already looking like an early house anthem for 2003.

  • Supergrass - Seen The Light

Now firmly established as UK rock royalty, Supergrass are another of those oh-so-reliable bands/acts that always seem to possess a canny knack of delivering the goods.

Single number two from the trio's latest album (the last being the wonderfully wigged out 'Grace'), 'Seen The Light' is typically jaunty, if slightly more laidback, Supergrass fair.

And whilst the CD and 7" come with exclusive new tracks, the DVD includes live audio tracks from their last tour, a photo gallery, live footage of the band performing their limited edition 7" 'Never Done Nothing Like That Before' and the video for 'Seen The Light'.

  • Soft Cell - Night

Soft Cell's influence cannot be over-stated; they helped form a hugely influential electronic template that can STILL be heard in today's music scene.

'Tainted Love' was Britain's biggest selling single in 1981. The group followed this with a string of hit singles including 'Bedsitter', 'Say Hello Wave Goodbye' and 'Torch'.

And their debut album, 'Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret', was enormously successful as was its follow-up, the equally popular 'The Art ofFalling Apart', whose title accurately predicted the group's implosion in 1984. Potted history over, let's get to the present. Having returned last year sounding, as good as and as relevant as ever, they're back in 2003 with brilliant new single 'The Night'.

Harking back to their early 80's hey-day, both formats of this release also come with bonus/live tracks and mixes.

  • Syntax - Pray

Already a bit of a floor-filler in some of Europe's sweatiest clubs, not-to-mention a regular in the sets of Sasha, Digweed, Seb Fontaine and Paul Oakenfold, amongst other A-list deejays, Illustrious do us all a favour and unleash Syntax's massive prog-trancer 'Pray'.

The work of Mike Tournier (Fluke) and vocalist Jan Burton, this is one of those rare tracks that straddles musical boundaries whilst at the same time remaining rooted firmly in the centre of a peaktime dancefloor, ANY peaktimedancefloor!

Whilst Junkie XL and Dave London are on hand to deliver the remixes.

  • Stylophonic - If Everybody In The World Loved Everybody In The World

The work of Italian producer Stefano Fontana, Stylophonic's sublime 'If Everybody In The World Loved.....' might have been a huge chill-out single on the White Isle in the summer of 2002 but, thanks to some hot new mixes, this slice of Balearic greatness is back and sounding better than ever in 2003.

Remixed in varying degrees of dancefloor potency by Detroit's Kevin Saunderson, King Britt and Rob Mello, this gem has something for everyone from tech to deep to mellow house and, once the dancing's over, you can kickback, relax, and mellow out to the beautiful original.
