Including the brashly pop moments of 'Stupid Girl', 'Cherry Lips' and 'Special', to the relatively sombre offerings of 'Milk', Queer' and 'Bleed Like Me', to the classic rock moments of 'Push It', and 'I Think I'm Paranoid', 'Absolute Garbage' also includes a brand new track called 'Tell me Where It Hurts', which hints towards still more interesting things still to come from Garbage.
'Only Happy When It Rains' still sounds as fresh as it did when unleashed on an unsuspecting early 90s England, with Shirley Manson's rasping, macabre tones ripping through a Butch Vigg-produced wall of fuzzed up electro guitars.
Garbage have also forged a reputation as one of the strongest live bands around having toured with U2 and Alanis Morissette to name but a few. Performances at Glastonbury, Reading, Download and T In The Park have also established Garbage as one of the favourites of the UK festival circuit.
