Whilst remaining removed from the industry behemoth that is the music business, there's no denying that Ryan Adams is just as hard-working and relentless as ever, with 'Easy Tiger' following up his three (yes, three...) releases of 2005: 'Cold Roses', 'Jacksonville City Nights' and '29'.

With 'Easy Tiger', Adam's tendency to put quantity in front of quality as he sometimes tended to with '29' is not evident. The tone of the new album is different too — not dismal and brooding, but removed and slighly upbeat — and even hints at the fact that the artist (and the music) has moved off from drink and grown up a tad (after all, he's now 32).

'Easy Tiger' includes various great tracks: the lovely 'Two' (featuring Sheryl Crow on backing vocals), the upbeat 'Halloween Head' and beautiful 'The Sun Also Sets'.

The genre is country, the feel is as earnest and emotional as ever - keep up the good work, Ryan.
