Striking the right balance between harmony-drenched summery tunes, MOR seventies riffs, toe-tapping piano accentuations and slick pop sensibilities, 'Twelve Stops And Home', the debut album from one of the key bands of 2006, The Feeling, is a stunning collection of radio-friendly songs destined to invade the airwaves.
Opening with the Beach Boys-influenced 'I Want You Now', through to the infectious chorus of 'Never Be Lonely', followed by the hit single 'Fill My Little World', and one can’t help but be enraptured by the sheer inspired beauty of this album.
Traversing between the emotional epic 'Sewn' and the playful 'Love It When You Call' and the endearing qualities of 'Twelve Stops...' becomes even more evident, where it can equally excite and enchant.
A bold and confident debut.
