All tastes are catered for with folk, rock, pop and eccentric experimental acts are hand-picked to perform. Artists are also given longer sets than usual to encourage artistic freedom.
The festival is corporate-free with organisers deciding to keep their ‘creative freedom’ and focus people’s attention on the acts rather than selling a brand. This means secret shows, artist workshops and DJ sets form acts as well as a host of surprises over the weekend.
End Of The Road also includes an array of organic, local and fair-trade food, good beer, environmental and sustainability schemes as well as 'caring and well-mannered staff'. There will also be a Scandinavian tilt with the event showcasing up-and-coming Nordic talent, Swedish snacks and Viking games.
