The pop princesses have announced that they will be holding their very own one day festival at Newnham Park, Plymouth on 11 August.  The five-piece will be playing with support from fellow reality TV stars Eton Road and Booty Luv with many more acts to be announced.

The family orientated day will also include a fun fair and entertainment throughout the day before Girls Aloud take to the stage in front of 15,000 people.

The band have achieved a record breaking fifteen consecutive top 10 hits including three number ones after hitting the spotlight when they won ITV’s Popstars: The Rivals.

The girls are also due to appear at Arundel Festival and T4 on the Beach this summer.

Kiss singer Paul Stanley suffers heart ailment
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Paul Stanley, a singer and guitarist with rock band Kiss, was forced to pull out of a show in California on Friday after his heart started beating at more than twice the normal level, he said on his Web site.
