Kelly Clarkson's new single 'Because of You' is out now, the third track to be released from the multi-million selling album 'Breakaway'.

It follows her top 10 hit 'Behind These Hazel Eyes'.

2005 has been an incredible year for Kelly Clarkson. After having four number 1 hits in the US this year, Kelly turned her attention to the UK and provided the unexpected hit of the summer 'Since U Been Gone'.

After debuting in the top 5, the song held firm in the top 10 for 7 weeks and refused to leave the top 40 for a further 6 weeks.

The album 'Breakaway' is now in its ninth week in the top 10 and is already a platinum record.

The rest of the world are also rapidly falling under Kelly's spell. 'Breakaway' has gone gold in Singapore and Idonesia, platinum in Canada and double platinum in Australia. Following her two awards at the MTV VMAs, Kelly has also just received two nominations at this year's MTV Latin America Awards.

'Because of You' is already a #1 hit in America where last week alone it received 8,000 spins across radio. The fantastic video, directed by Vadim Perelman who directed the Oscar nominated 'The House of Sand and Fog', is currently the most played on MTV. It is also one of a very few videos to ever debut at #1 on TRL.

The record will certainly leave no one in any doubt that 2006 will see Kelly become a massive global superstar.
