All about this artist

Biography:

This US thrash metal band was formed in Richmond, Virginia, in 2000 by flamboyant frontman Tony Foresta and guitarist Ryan Waste, with Brendan Tache (drums) and Andy Harris (bass) completing the line-up. The band made their debut a year later with a self-titled EP and also released a number of split 7-inch and 12-inch singles.

Brandon Ferrell was brought in to replace Tache on the 2003 album Waste 'Em All, which was only marginally longer than the EP, cramming 16 tracks into a running time of barely 17 minutes. The line-up began to take on a more permanent shape when Land Phil (born Philip Hall; bass/vocals) and Dave Witte (drums) joined shortly before the band recorded their 2005 Earache Records debut, Hazardous Mutation.

By now the band's faithful resurrection of the crossover thrash genre, an energetic mix of thrash metal and hardcore that had found favour over 20 years previously, was beginning to attract growing audiences throughout North America and Europe. The title of the 2007 follow-up accurately captured the spirit of this no-thrills thrash band.
