All about this artist
Biography:
Formed in 2005 by Nathan Leone (vocals), Matthew Leone (bass), Mateo Camargo (born Bogota, Columbia, USA; guitar), and Dan Torelli (drums), this US alternative rock quartet is based in Illinois. Twin brothers Nathan and Matthew Leone earned the dubious distinction of winning the NBC reality television game show Fear Factor, during which they had to perform a series of stunts and eat maggots and other unsavoury fare.
The $50,000 prize helped the brothers launch their band's career, and the media profile established by their television appearance also attracted the attention of major label Roadrunner Records. Despite being signed to Roadrunner, the quartet made its debut with the independently released The Disappearance Of Adalia EP in 2006.
The EP's weighty concept about the disappearance of a young woman called Adalia was barely supported by the quartet's crunching punk rock and Nathan Leone's barely intelligible vocals. Four tracks from the EP were included on the band's full-length debut From Them, Through Us, To You, released by Roadrunner in March 2007.
The album continued the theme of the EP but was dragged down by many of the musical faults apparent on the earlier release.
