After starting engine on my petrol BMW 320i ES 2005 (45,000 miles on the clock) and letting the engine run at idle, I can hear a slight rattling sound from the engine. It almost sounds as if it's a diesel engine. When I lift the bonnet it naturally sounds louder and more like a diesel motor. What could be wrong as I have only had the car for one week?
