Rod Murdison has been giving advice for more than 20 years, having started as an Independent Financial Adviser with a West End firm and later as an adviser in the financial services depts. of various Lloyds brokerages in the City and Docklands. More than 10 years ago, he formed Murdison & Browning (with James Browning) as a commercial and residential mortgage brokerage. The initial aim was to research every lender so they would know categorically whether someone might lend on a given residential or commercial property. This research lead them to discover lenders who not only lent on buildings but also boats, land, etc. with buy-to- let becoming a speciality.
