Builders' website takes revenge on customers

Builders' website takes revenge on customers

A builder who demolished his client's conservatory after she refused to pay for it is setting up a revenge website for angry tradesmen. Nigel Gray, 44, created roguecustomers.co.uk after being left £22,000 out of pocket following months of bounced cheques and excuses. His workmen took an 18lb sledgehammer to the customer's newly built porch in Shoreham, West Sussex. Gray gained permission from the local council and said it was a last resort which he had been forced into.

'Everyone has heard of rogue traders but I think there is just as big a problem with rogue customers out there who fail to pay for a job well done,' he said. 'I want to expose the people who are effectively ripping apart families by failing to pay their bills.'
