London South Learning & Skills Council is ringing in the new year by selecting employing organisations to benefit from its £100,000 Why Not? Innovation Futures Fund. The LSC has allocated the funds to boost adult learning and workforce development in the area through local employer participation.
The seven successful organisations (from a total of 57 bids) include The Silver Bullet Machine's project, which looks at teaching creativity and lateral thinking to young workers. Another winner is the British Association of Print and Communications' scheme to develop training ambassadors and raise skill levels through focused training in the print industry.
