New state pension retirement ages for everyone under 47 are set to change under reforms going through the House of Commons.
The changes will be phased in over a 22-year period but anyone under 27 faces working until they are 68 before they're entitled to a state pension - unless they work in the public sector which will remain at 60.
It will also be easier for women to get a full State pension, even if they take time our of work to raise a family.
At the moment, women need 39 years of National Insurance payments to qualify and men need 44. Under new laws both sexes will need 30 years.
