Montagne Jeuness pore strips

Montagne Jeuness pore strips

Pore strips remove blackheads and unclog deep pores in your nose, forehead and chin using a sticky tape infused with natural purifiers such as Green Tea and orange.

What we liked: The results were there right in front of you when you peeled off the strips. Depending on the condition of your blackheads, you really could see what was once in your nose, now on the strip. The application was very easy.
What we weren't so keen on: You have to be careful removing the strips. If you allow them to dry for too long, then it can be painful to peel them off. Make sure you dampen them a bit before removing if in doubt.

Montagne Jeunesse 5 minute miracle face tonic

Montagne Jeunesse 5 minute miracle face tonic

Montagne Jeunesse claim the real dead sea nutrients and minerals submerge tired, stressed out skin in moisture leaving it smooth and rehydrated, toned and visibly younger looking.

What we liked: The mask (a face shaped cloth) certainly submerged my tired skin with moisture and I could feel my skin tingling with the tonic. What amazing value for money at just 99p. When I removed the mask my skin did feel thoroughly re-hydrated and incredibly nourished.
What we weren't so keen on: The mask comes in one size and as my face is quite small, I had to arrange the wet mask quite carefully across my face which took away from the relaxation experience. None-the-less, it meant I got twice the tonic!

Rosa Fina Intensive Radiance Face Oil

Rosa Fina Intensive Radiance Face Oil

"An exquisite vitamin enriched blend of organic oils. Magically absorbed into the skin leaving no oily residue. Acts therapeutically on wrinkles, fine lines, scarring and blemishes, and can also help balance excessive T-zone oiliness."

Pros: I was extremely wary of using a facial oil on my skin, having quite oily skin already. But I couldn't believe the effect of this oil. For a start - it doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy in the slightest. After just a few seconds of rubbing in 2-3 drops my skin felt velvety and extremely soft to the touch. Plus it seemed to contain my oily T-zone much more effectively throughout the day. A beauty must-have.
Cons: None!

The Sanctuary Sugar Face Polish

The Sanctuary Sugar Face Polish

According to The Sanctuary, this scrub is a "pampering face treatment to polish away tired dead skin cells. Brown Sugar gently exfoliates the skin, whilst Grapefruit and Orange Oils invigorate and Passion Flower Oil moisturises and softens. Your skin will be left smooth and your complexion glowing."

Pros: My face was left incredibly soft and smooth after using the exfoliator. After rinsing it off, a thin but non-greasy oily sheen remained on the face which meant there was no need for separate moisturiser afterwards. Didn't need to use a lot to make a big difference and you can use it as often as you like. Grapefruit and orange oils also gave this exfoliator a really refreshing citrus feeling - good enough to eat!
Cons: The exfoliating grains are quite large so you'd need to be careful not to scrub to hard. Also, the oil was a little messy during application so I'd recommend using whilst in the shower.
