CACI Chroma Oxy Treatment - C2 Clinic in Hampstead

CACI, the pioneers of non-surgical treatments have launched a revolutionary new facial called CACI Chroma-Oxy. I had the pleasure of going to try this for myself, but before I tell you what I thought here is some more detailed information on the treatment - It works to combat all signs of poor skin condition, simultaneously treating imperfections such as acne, blemishes, scar tissue and fine lines whilst restoring its texture, elasticity and firmness. The relaxing, calming, facial lets you drift away as the treatment works to bring back skins lustre.

The non-invasive treatment combines the power of both CACI Chroma Clear and CACI Oxylife to offer an energising treatment with optimum results. This 90-minute treatment utilizes 7 state of the art technologies:

Vacuum Massage: a technique that brings blood to the surface and with the blood, new nourishment and energy to the epidermal tissue cells

Microdermo Percussion (microdermabrasion): an exfoliation method using perfectly round quartz silica microspheres, which instead of scraping the skin like the traditional aluminium oxide crystals, gently exfoliate. By producing a rapid tapping action as they are propelled onto the skin it produces very little redness or irritation.

Micro-Vibration: micro impulses that stimulate the basal layer and accelerate cellular renewal. When combined with chromatherapy, this method soothes and calms the skin.

Chromatherapy (blue light): used to neutralize skin bacteria, eliminate toxins, cool down inflammations and speed up the healing process.

Phototherapy (red Light): used to increase the production of collagen and therefore particularly beneficial to treating wrinkles. The anti-inflammatory action speeds up the healing process of wounds and scar tissue.

Oxygen infusion: drives pulsed oxygen together with specially formulated endocosmetics (Oxycare Line) deep into the skin to improve all visible signs of aging such as dryness, loss of shape, folds and wrinkles, sun spots and age spots.

Oxy inhalation/aromatherapy: A special mask enables the client to breathe in pure oxygen that is detoxifying, revitalizing and relaxing. The regenerative properties of oxygen work in synergy with aromatherapy to combat pollution and the stress of modern life - a real breathe of fresh air.

What did we think?

I found this facial really relaxing despite some noise from the various machines that are used during the process. I had to take a minute to come around before getting off the bed. Skin wise, my skin definitely glowed and was clear. I didn't suffer from any breakouts afterwards (opposite to what other beauty editors have reported). I think the blue-light technology is great for getting rid of bacteria on the skin and I love how it helps with scarring, which I am sure we all have as a result of growing-up. I could therefore see this treatment being beneficial to people who have suffered from acne in the past (please consult with your doctor prior to any kind of treatment like this though).

It isn't the kind of facial I'd have before a night out but would treat myself to it for a special occassion such as a wedding or party where you can do it a week in advance.

One very important thing to be aware of is that due to the intensive nature of this facial, you can't have any other kind of facial for at least a month after, ideally two. But with a facial like this, the results last long enough for that not to be an issue.
