Vanity K at K West Hotel & Spa

A manicure for me has always been seen as an indulgence, in fact so much so that I rather embarrassingly confess that I'd not previously experienced one. When given the opportunity to try out the Vanity K manicure, I rather eagerly jumped at the chance. As with most things, once tried, I wonder how I could have gone so long without!

For half an hour I enjoyed a relaxing file and polish by Ferzana, a friendly beautician who regaled me with stories of massaging Keifer Sunderland. I was then lead through to a relaxation room to sip herbal tea and allow my polish to dry.

The treatment itself is set within a beautiful and tranquil Spa area, where a variety of treatments are on offer; and you can take advantage of the steam rooms and pool. The setting will definitely tempt me back. Positioned in Shepherds Bush, it's a great place to come for cocktails to celeb spot and if it's good enough for Keifer, it's good enough for me. I happily skipped off to nearby Notting Hill for Friday night cocktails with the girls, relishing the opportunity to show off my newly polished nails.
