Chocolate Body Wrap - May Fair Hotel Spa

The combination of chocolate and a massaging body wrap is my idea of heaven. And the treatment lived up to it. The relaxation rooms which I used before and after the treatment helped to enhance the whole experience.

The treatment consisted of a salt scrub to remove dead skin cells, followed by a luxurious layer of warm chocolate applied to the entire body. I was then wrapped in clingfilm for a little while which allowed the cocoa to penetrate my skin. After being unwrapped from my chocolate cocoon, I showered to remove the chocolate and then had moisturising oils applied to complete the treatment.

Verdict?

The cocoa in the chocolate is meant to leave you silky smooth and whether it was due to the cocoa or all the moisturising I did feel that my skin was considerably softer as a result of the treatment.

Overall the treatment was worth every penny and I would recommend it even for non-chocoholics. At least this way you can enjoy the benefits of chocolate without piling on the calories.
