How is little Oscar, the cat I rescued?

Dear Lyn,

I know it may seem trivial to some, but I really, really want to know about a little cat called Oscar, who was killed on the road last week, only 18 months old.

I had rescued him from an abusive home only six weeks earlier, and I failed to give him that loving home he deserved for the rest of his life. Both my parents died in 1996 and despite many visits to mediums I have never had a message from them, or my grandparents.

I have so many animals in the spirit world now, and most of my family, and I would so like to hear they're okay, but at this moment in time my grief is for little Oscar, and I have prayed my parents are caring for him, and he's with my other cats in spirit, who he never knew in life, and I failed to keep him safe from the road and I'm so sorry. Can you give me any message at all?

If this life was all there is, once our beloved animals left it, there would be no chance of meeting them again, and that would truly be an intolerable grief; but we know that this isn't the case and that we will have the pleasure of their company again.

As for the short earthly time you spent with Oscar, he would have greatly appreciated that. None of us can be with our loved ones 24 hours a day, whether animal or human, and as they say, accidents will happen. You mention your parents, and although I feel that they wouldn't have taken too kindly to looking after Oscar for you - and your other cats - while they were on the earth plane, they have more time and space to do that now.

I hear the names of Margery and Mary connecting with you and John and George. A Bert is also mentioned, as is carpentry and a joiner. I'm being shown a lot of pot plants - a kitchen window overlooking a garden - and the surname of Wood/s.

I'm also being shown a lake - and I'm prompted to mention the Lake District as a significant place - also the month of October and a celebration occasion in the summer. I notice there is a young person and a baby in the family group to whom much love is being directed. I also feel that healing is an important factor in your life, and was in that of your parents and grandparents. Have you tried mediums whose skills have been vetted by peer organisations?
