Who was the girl who visited me in the operating room?

Lyn Guest De Swarte

Who was the girl who visited me in the operating room?

Dear Lyn,
I had had a severe heart attack and an anaphalactic shock reaction to the treatment. At some stage I saw my family being led from my room and being vaguely aware of emergency medical treatment.

I do not know at what stage I saw the young (about 7 or 8)girl by my bedside. She was dressed in white, lovely pin tucked and embroidered dress, a white bonnet with small brim (possibly Victorian or early Edwardian).

She had golden ringlets and a lovely smile. She appeared to be by my side for a few minutes, it could have been seconds - I do not know. She smiled at me, gave me a feeling of great peace before she very slowly faded away.

Who was she? Why was she there? What did her appearance mean? Was she trying to tell me something? I believe that I really NEED to know.

Millie Garratty

Dear Millie,

What a lovely experience. We all have a special 'other person' in the world of spirit who is appointed to look after us through our earthly lives.

Spiritualists believe in the Principle of 'Communion of spirit and the ministry of angels' and you were definitely visited by your guardian angel. She was just checking up on you, giving you healing - and then - knowing you weren't needing her to escort you over to the other side, faded from your view - but still very visible to spirit and those in the heavenly realms.

Send out a thought and a prayer for her and you will receive much comfort.

With every blessing.
Lyn
