I would liked to have said goodbye even though I didn't know him very well

Dear Lyn

My Grandfather died about 7 years ago in Australia and I never got to say goodbye. His name was Fred Selwood although I didn't know him very well I felt very close to him. Can you contact him for me? Natalie

Dear Natalie

When you're as close to someone as you were with your grandad Fred, death is not something that separates you from those feelings of love. You haven't stopped loving your grandad, and neither has be stopped loving you. Death is only a word that describes the shedding of our physical overcoat and our transition as only spirit to the new environment to which we're then suited.

Your granddad was a practical man and very sensible. He had to work hard to make his way in life, and you seem to have inherited his strong-mindedness. Although you didn't know him that well, the similarities between you would account for your feeling of affinity.

He's showing me an old £5 pound note and talking about a ship voyage and an old photograph. I'm sure that you can find out what all that is about if you don't know straight away. You're being told to keep wrapped up until the weather gets better, so he's 'looking out' for you. Please accept a box of chocolates from him from the spirit world. He's standing in a lovely garden with lots of daisies around in the grass. May your pathway be ever blessed. Lyn
