I constantly need to go to the toilet

I leak urine when I exercise

I feel like I constantly need the toilet and find small traces of blood when I wee.

Could it be related to the fact that I have recently started a sexual relationship with my boyfriend?

This could well be cystitis and should be checked out.

There used to be a condition called honeymoon cystitis. It's not seen much any more because most people don't hold off having sex until they are married. The mechanism, though, is the same.

Often the beginning of a sexual relationship can cause some cystitis and sometimes it needs an antibiotic.

Go and see your GP. He or she will ask you for a sample of your urine to send off to the lab.
