I get thrush every month. General treatments over the counter do not work.
I've also had a test for diabetes, which was negative.
I tried crystal violet paint, which seems to have helped. My boyfriend tested for it and was negative.
What should I do to finally get rid of it for good?
Answer
Most women who get thrush find it responds to the kinds of treatments you've tried, you're unlucky.
One treatment method is to be treated at specific times every month for at least three months.
Get antifungal pessaries and cream. Use them both for three to five days immediately after each period for three months - also, avoid sex during those treatment days.
This regime will work for most women who have thrush persistently.
Yours sincerely
