Question
Every time my girlfriend has an intense orgasm, she 'gushes' fluid.
When she gushes, it is a clear fluid, almost like water that just pours out from her. I have heard about this and I don't have a problem with it but I would like to know more on this subject and to put my girlfriend at ease.
Answer
As you say, there is really no problem. Most women don't pour out fluid at orgasm â contrary to what many erotic novels suggest. However, a few do - and this is normal for them. Doctors used to say that the fluid 'must be urine' - and in some cases it undoubtedly is (particularly if the woman has had several children so that her control of her bladder is not too good).
However, research in America seems to suggest that some females pour out a special 'orgasmic fluid' â perhaps similar to the secretions of a man's prostate gland. There's nothing you can to do to 'stop' this fluid â but most couples don't want to.
A lot of guys regard it as a big turn-on that their partners get carried away like this!
Yours sincerely
