Sex objects â are they risky?
Other Qs & As
Question
We are in our late 20s, and we love each other.
We enact a lot of fantasies in our bedroom and both of us are very interested in trying different ones. Of late we have been trying out an 'object fetish' â my wife inserts different objects into her vagina. They can be anything: bananas, carrots, etc.
We take every care to use clean and even condom-wrapped objects. However, I have a few concerns, as there has been some discomfort when my wife inserted a cucumber inside.
What I am worried about is will her vagina become loose if we use the cucumber on a regular basis?
Answer
I'm afraid that I do advise against putting anything into the vagina except things that were designed for the purpose. Even with a condom, vegetables could scratch your wife internally, and could possibly cause infection. Also, I understand that some vegetable skins contain pesticides.
If you and your wife wish to continue inserting objects, I suggest you use properly designed, safe dildoes or vibrators. These are obtainable from many sources.
There is no medical evidence to suggest that purpose designed stimulators of this sort could cause stretching.
Best wishes.
Yours sincerely
