How can this medicine affect other medicines?
It is recommended that you use your reliever inhaler (eg salbutamol or terbutaline) before your corticosteroid inhaler, particularly if the steroid inhaler makes you cough, as this opens the airways and helps the full dose of preventive corticosteroid to be inhaled into the lungs.
The antifungal medicine ketoconazole may increase the amount of this medicine in your bloodstream.
Make sure you tell your doctor if you have been, or are currently taking any other medicines, particularly if you have been using any other corticosteroids, eg tablets, inhalers, injections, before you start using this medicine.
