How does it work?
This medicine contains the active ingredient calcium carbonate, which is a type of medicine called an antacid.
What is it used for?
- Excess gas in the stomach and intestines (flatulence)

Heartburn
- Indigestion
- Nausea
- Upset stomach characterised by stomach pain and burning, nausea and excess gas (dyspepsia)
Warning!
- If symptoms persist despite treatment, seek medical advice from your doctor or pharmacist.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose of this medicine, which will be stated in the product packaging or information leaflet supplied with the medicine.
- This medicine is not recommended for use in children.
- This medicine should be sucked or chewed.
Use with caution in
- Decreased kidney function
Not to be used in
- High levels of calcium in the blood (hypercalcaemia)
This medicine should not be used if you are allergic to one or any of its ingredients. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you have previously experienced such an allergy.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
Certain medicines should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
