How can this medicine affect other medicines?
Bicalutamide must not be taken with the following medicines:
- terfenadine
- astemizole (unavailable in the UK)
- cisapride (unavailable in the UK).
Bicalutamide may increase the blood thinning or anti-clotting effects of the anticoagulant medicine warfarin. Blood clotting times (INR) should be monitored if this medicine is added to warfarin treatment.
