Radian B pain relief spray

How does it work?

This preparation contains four active ingredients; menthol, camphor, methyl salicylate and aspirin. Menthol relieves itching and causes the blood vessels on the surface of the skin to widen. This causes a sensation of coldness followed by a reduction in pain. Camphor and methyl salicylate are counter-irritants, which when applied, cause cause redness and heat to be produced. This distracts the brain from the original pain and therefore reduces perception. Aspirin acts as a local analgesic to reduce pain. This preparation is used to relieve the symptoms of aches and pains such as muscle stiffness, bruising, sprains, strains and fibrositis. It is available in the form of a liniment, spray and lotion.
