How can this medicine affect other medicines?

The manufacturers state that this medicine should not be taken with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) such as phenelzine, or for two weeks following the discontinuation of an MAOI. When oxycodone is taken together with medicines for anxiety, sleeping tablets, anaesthetics or alcohol, the sedative effects of these medicines may be increased.
