E45 Emollient Bath Oil

How does it work?

This bath oil contains cetyl dimeticone (liquid silicone) and liquid paraffin. The preparation forms a waterproof barrier over the skin surface. This reduces drying from evaporation of water and keeps the underlying skin hydrated. It is used for bathing dry, itchy skin conditions where the use of an emollient is required. It helps prevent dry skin by retaining the skin's natural moisture. It keeps the skin soft and comfortable long after leaving the bath. It is suitable for bathing eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis and ichthyosis.

What is it used for?

Eczema

Inflammation of the skin

Inherited, non-inflammatory dryness and scaling of the skin (ichthyosis, xeroderma)

Itching (pruritus)

Psoriasis

Warning!

Avoid contact of this medicine with the eyes.

When using this preparation in the bath or shower take care to avoid slipping, especially when getting in or out, as this preparation may make the bath/shower more slippery than usual.

Not to be used in

Known sensitivity or allergy to any ingredient

This medicine should not be used if you are allergic to one or any of its ingredients. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you have previously experienced such an allergy. If you feel you have experienced an allergic reaction, stop using this medicine and inform your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
