How can this medicine affect other medicines?
This vaccine should not be taken together with medicines that suppress the immune system, such as corticosteroids or anti-cancer medicines.
The oral typhoid vaccine should not be given together with antibiotics or sulphonamides, as these may inactivate the vaccine.
It is recommended that this vaccine and the antimalarial medicine mefloquine should not be taken on the same day, as mefloquine may inactivate the vaccine. If they must be taken on the same day their doses must be separated by at least 12 hours.
