Transvasin Heat Spray




How does it work?

This spray contains three active ingredients, diethylamine salicylate, hydroxethyl salicylate and methyl nicotinate. Diethylamine salicylate is topical analgesic (pain reliever) used for rheumatic and muscular pain. Hydroxyethyl salicylate and methyl nicotinate are rubifacients. When applied to an area of skin they cause reddening and a feeling of warmth by increasing blood flow in that area. This heat spray is used for the relief of muscular and rheumatic pain.

What is it used for?

  • Relief of muscular and rheumatic pain
  • Warning!

  • This preparation should not be used near naked flames.
  • Pressurised container - protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures above 50 degrees C. Do not pierce or burn the can even after use.
  • Do not use near and do not place the container on polished or painted surfaces.
  • Avoid eyes, nose and other sensitive areas
  • Not to be used in

  • Allergy to salicylic acid
  • Avoid broken skin
  • Children under 5 years of age
  • Inflamed skin
  • This medicine should not be used if you are allergic to one or any of its ingredients. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you have previously experienced such an allergy. If you feel you have experienced an allergic reaction, stop using this medicine and inform your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

    Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

    Certain medicines should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. However, other medicines may be safely used in pregnancy or breastfeeding providing the benefits to the mother outweigh the risks to the unborn baby.
