How does it work?

Hypromellose with Dextran 70 is used to treat conditions where not enough tears are produced to keep the eye lubricated and clean. Hypromellose and dextran lubricate the surface of the eyein the same way as natural tears. They can therefore be used to relieve the dryness and pain associated with reduced or abnormal tear production.

- You should not wear soft contact lenses while you are using this medicine. This it because the medicine contains a preservative that can be absorbed by soft contact lenses and cause eye irritation.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
