How does it work?
Flunisolide belongs to a group of medicines known as corticosteroids. These act inside the cells to decrease the release of certain chemicals that are important in the immune system. By decreasing the release of these chemicals in a particular area, inflammation and mucus secretion is reduced.
What is it used for?
Warning!
- Children who are receiving long-term treatment with corticosteroid medicines should have their height regularly monitored, since high doses of corticosteroids taken for long periods of time can impair growth in children.
Use with caution in
- Children under 5 years of age

- Known sensitivity or allergy to any ingredient
- This medication should be avoided after nasal surgery
