How can this medicine affect other medicines?
There may be some absorption of adrenaline when it is used as an eye drop.
There may be an increase in blood pressure when adrenaline eye drops are used with:
beta-blockers such as metoprolol
tricyclic antidepressants such as imiprimine
mono-amine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) antidepressants
Entacapone and other adrenaline-like medicines, such as phenylephrine, will increase the effect of adrenaline.
