- sedating antihistamines, eg chlorphenamine, hydroxyzine, promethazine
- sleeping tablets, eg zopiclone
- tricyclic antidepressants, eg amitriptyline.

Pizotifen tablets are also available without a brand name, ie as the generic medicine.
