Side effects

- Raised temperature
- Headache
- Rash
- Nausea
- Blood disorders
- Lung disorders
- Decreased sperm count (oligospermia)

How can this medicine affect other medicines?

Sulfasalazine may interfere with the absorption of the following medicines from the gut, and hence reduce their blood levels: - digoxin - folic acid.
