How does it work?
Calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate are commonly used as antacids in a variety of preparations. They alter the acidity of the stomach's juices, by binding to excess acid.
What is it used for?
- Excess acid in the stomach (hyperacidity)
- Excess gas in the stomach and intestines (flatulence)

- Heartburn in pregnancy
- Nausea
- Trapped wind
- Upset stomach characterised by stomach pain and burning, nausea and excess gas (dyspepsia)
