Side effects

- Depression

- Loss of contact with reality (psychosis)
- False perceptions of things that are not really there (hallucinations)
- Decreased appetite
- A state of well-being, optimism and cheerfulness (euphoria)
- Dizziness
- A drop in blood pressure that occurs when going from lying down to sitting or standing, which results in dizziness and lightheadedness (postural hypotension)
- Sleepiness (somnolence)
- Disorientation

How can this medicine affect other medicines?

Alcohol, diazepam, barbituates (e.g. secobarbital) and codeine increase the depression of the central nervous system and so increase symptoms such as drowsiness, when taken with nabilone.
