How does it work?
Carbocisteine is a mucolytic medicine which breaks down some of the chemical bonds in mucus. This makes the mucus less thick and sticky (viscous) and thus easier to cough up.
What is it used for?
- Artificial airway opening in the neck (tracheostomy)

Not to be used in
- Known sensitivity or allergy to any ingredient

This medicine should not be used if you are allergic to one or any of its ingredients. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you have previously experienced such an allergy.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
