Movelat relief

How does it work?

Movelat relief gel and cream both contain the active ingredients mucopolysaccharide polysulphate and salicylic acid.

Mucopolysaccharide polysulphate blocks the production of a chemical called prostaglandin which the body produces in response to injury or certain diseases. Prostaglandins are responsible for causing swelling, pain and inflammation, and therefore mucopolysaccharide reduces these effects. It is also able to dissolve blood clots and improve the blood supply to the skin. Salicylic acid is included in this preparation to break down keratin, a protein which forms part of the skin structure. This results in the shedding of skin cells, thereby improving the penetration of mucopolysaccharide. This further improves the reduction of swelling and pain at the site of application. This preparation is used to reduce the pain and swelling associated with inflammed muscles and joints.
