How does it work?

Dequalinium chloride is an antiseptic agent that is active against many bacteria, yeasts and fungi. It kills the micro-organisms that cause minor infections of the mouth and throat. The action of sucking the lozenge allows the active ingredient to work directly in the area of infection. It also lubricates and soothes the painful area, which helps relieve the soreness and discomfort of mouth and throat infections.
